According to ESPN, Barcelona are prepared to sell attacker Malcom this month if they receive a bid in excess of the £36m that they paid for him last summer.
Italian giants Roma were seemingly on the verge of signing Malcom last summer before Barcelona swooped to land the Brazilian at the final moment.
It would be fair to say that the 21-year-old has struggled to make his mark in Spain.
Malcom has shown flashes of his quality, but is down the pecking order when it comes to playing alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in the final third of the field.
News that Malcom could be available this month has attracted the attention of the Tottenham Hotspur fans.
Indeed, Spurs have previously been linked with the attacker and now the club’s supporters have been commenting on the situation on social media.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
I think is a turning point TBH if we are not willing to bring in a player like Malcom in for 40 million, then there is no point being in the top four and the Champions League
Players will also think the same. Unless they come out and say we are not in the market to compete

Best case scenario Levy will be willing to pay +- €24M. I highly doubt he will be willing to pay over 30M
